We opened one tunnel in 2016 with a simple idea: make a clean car a monthly habit, not a weekend chore.
From one tunnel to five
Nadia Petrosyan spent nine years running a regional car wash chain before opening Spectra on Ballard Ave NW. She was tired of memberships that were easy to join and nearly impossible to cancel.
So Spectra did the opposite. Plans are month to month, prices are posted, and you can pause or cancel online in under a minute. Members stayed anyway, and word spread. Capitol Hill opened in 2018, West Seattle in 2020, Northgate in 2022 and our Eastside flagship in Bellevue in 2024.
